You must first activate the Legacy mode by going to Extensions -> Plugin Manager -> System – Legacy (found in the second page), then activate.
Next you must unzip the downloaded file then install com_adsmanager.zip by going to Extension -> Install/Uninstall ->, browse your local drive then click Upload/Install.
Repeat steps with mod_adsmanager_ads and mod_adsmanager_menu and mod_adsmanager_search.
To upgrade Ads Manager to a newer version, uninstall the current version then install the newer version by following the install direction above. When you uninstall the older version, the files and database tables are left un-touched.
